What a month it was for books in JUNE kicking off the summer with genres for everyone. This is the first time I have put together a list at month-end, and no promises I will continue to do so. I read many books months in advance for my elevator interviews I often do not have the time for the current month. Hard to believe we are already in JULY!
JUNE was also Audiobook Appreciation Month

How to Celebrate Audiobook Month
Audiobooks have also proven to increase general literacy. Audiobook Appreciation Month celebrates the wonderful development of audiobooks over the years and the way this format has helped millions of people read their favorite books day after day!
JULY Featured Audiobook Narrator, Hillary Huber.
Check out the two audiobooks I have featured above for July. She is one of my favorites.
Hillary has recorded over 500 audiobooks spanning many genres. She is a multiple Audie Award finalist, multiple Earphone Award winner, Voice Arts Awards winner and one of Audiofile Magazine's best voices. Hillary has a BA in English Literature and is a voracious reader and listener. Likes: yoga, hip hop dancing, baking sourdough, bourbon. Dislikes: liver. Raised in conservative Connecticut and hippy Hawaii, Hillary now splits her time between Santa Monica and New York. Most of that time is in a 4x4 padded room. Er...booth.
Speaking of audio narrators, be sure and add Julia Whelan's new upcoming book to your August list—THANK YOU FOR LISTENING (8/2) Writer. Narrator. Actor.
A special thank you to all the special narrators out there! I devour audiobooks between my audible membership and NetGalley. We all have our favorites and will try and feature a newsletter before year-end with some of my top narrators/books. Do you have favorites? What do you like best about audiobooks? HAPPY LISTENING!
